» Gender: Female. Though demons have no physical form, it's clear that Ruby was physically female as a human, and all the bodies she's possessed in canon have been female as well. It's possible she has been able to hold onto her gender identity so well because she remembers what it was like to be human.
» Age: That's a little complicated. Ruby died sometime during the plague, making her over 600 by surface time; however, time in Hell passes a little more quickly than that, with what is a month above being more like ten years. That equates to many, many millennia.

The body she is currently possessing appears to be in her early to mid twenties.

» Orientation: Pansexual. Given the nature of Hell—the disembodiment and warping torture of all kinds—one can assume gender wouldn't mean as much to the demonic population as it might to humans. Though there have been demons who seem pretty clear-cut and narrow in their preferences, few seem to have much of one, or even a solid gender identity. They tend to take the pleasures of the flesh, and the flesh itself, wherever they can find them. Ruby herself seems to use sex as more of a tool for manipulation than anything else, though she is seen actually enjoying the sexual acts she engages in. Given her nature, the seduction is just as thrilling as the act itself, no matter who she may be seducing.

Her most notable sexual relationship was with Sam Winchester. Again, this seems to be part of her manipulation, a way for her to give Sam an emotional outlet for the pain and need that came with his brother's death. However, given the growing affection and attachment she is shown to have for him, even after the final seal is broken and her deception is done, there was most likely something real there as well.

There are also the suggestive comments made to the demon she sold her soul, who at the time had taken on a female body. Once again we see this to be a manipulation on her part, but given the fact that she could use such a manipulation at all suggests there may have relations prior to their final confrontation. It's worth noting that when Ruby warns the Winchesters, she refers to this particular demon as "it", implying that the demon may not claim a specific gender identity, taking whichever body would serve most useful, perhaps even a male body during a previous encounter.
